ترامپ همچنین گفت آمریکا هنوز «با تمام قدرت» به ایران حمله نکرده است.
رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا بار دیگر از جزیره خارک نام برد و گفت ترجیح او این است که آمریکا این جزیره را در اختیار بگیرد.
او افزود با وجود ادامه درگیری‌ها، ترجیح می‌دهد آمریکا زیرساخت‌های غیرنظامی ایران را هدف قرار ندهد.
