♦️ The Arlington County Fire and Emergency Medical Services announced on social media platform X that firefighters are investigating an incident involving hazardous materials at the Pentagon building.
CNN also reported, citing anonymous sources, that the building has been placed under quarantine and strict security measures, with employees evacuated from several floors.
Meanwhile, a Pentagon spokesperson stated: "The Pentagon has detected an issue with the air quality in the building, which has necessitated taking precautionary measures until the significance and danger of the situation are determined."
He further added: "The Department of Defense is implementing standard protective protocols; these measures include issuing a shelter-in-place order for the affected sections of the building."

♦️ مقامات آتشنشانی و امداد و نجات شهرستان آرلینگتون در شبکه اجتماعی ایکس اعلام کردند که ماموران آتشنشانی در حال بررسی حادثهای مربوط به مواد خطرناک (Hazardous Materials) در ساختمان پنتاگون هستند.
شبکه خبری سیانان نیز به نقل از منابع ناشناس گزارش داد که این ساختمان تحت قرنطینه و تدابیر شدید امنیتی قرار گرفته و کارکنان چندین طبقه از آن تخلیه شدهاند.
در همین حال، سخنگوی پنتاگون در این باره اعلام کرد: «پنتاگون متوجه مشکلی در کیفیت هوای ساختمان شده است که تا زمان تعیین میزان اهمیت و خطر آن، اتخاذ اقدامات پیشگیرانه را ضروری ساخته است.»
او در ادامه افزود: «وزارت دفاع در حال اجرای پروتکلهای حفاظتی استاندارد است؛ این اقدامات شامل صدور دستور پناهگیری در محل (Shelter-in-place) برای بخشهای آسیبدیده ساختمان میشود.»
