Israel Katz, the Israeli Foreign Minister, announced on Friday, June 22, via a message on the social media platform X, that although the President of the United States is moving towards an agreement based on Washington's interests and a common goal with Tel Aviv, which is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, Israel has higher expectations. Katz emphasized: "We expect the President of the United States to uphold this principle and other conditions in the missile domain and regarding proxy groups."
He pointed out that heavy joint strikes have pushed Iran's capabilities back for years, adding: "Israel must ensure that it retains the ability to take independent action to prevent Iran from becoming nuclear in the future; for this purpose, I and Benjamin Netanyahu have instructed the army to be prepared."
The Israeli Foreign Minister also stated as a key lesson from the events of October 7 that the country will not retreat from security areas in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza under any circumstances, and the army will continue to defend the borders against jihadist threats from the heights of Hermon to the depths of Gaza.

یسرائیل کاتز، وزیر امور خارجه اسرائیل، روز جمعه ۲۲ خرداد، با انتشار پیامی در شبکه اجتماعی ایکس اعلام کرد که هرچند رئیسجمهوری آمریکا بر اساس منافع واشنگتن و هدف مشترک با تلآویو، یعنی جلوگیری از دستیابی ایران به سلاح هستهای، به سمت یک توافق حرکت میکند، اما اسرائیل انتظارات فراتری دارد. کاتز تاکید کرد: «از رئیسجمهوری آمریکا انتظار داریم این اصل و شروط دیگر در حوزه موشکی و گروههای نیابتی را حفظ کند».
او با اشاره به اینکه ضربات سنگین مشترک، توانمندیهای ایران را سالها به عقب رانده است، افزود: «اسرائیل باید تضمین کند که در آینده نیز توانایی اقدام مستقل برای جلوگیری از هستهای شدن ایران را دارد؛ به همین منظور، من و بنیامین نتانیاهو به ارتش دستور آمادگی لازم را دادهایم.»
وزیر خارجه اسرائیل همچنین به عنوان درس اصلی از وقایع ۷ اکتبر تصریح کرد که این کشور به هیچ وجه از مناطق امنیتی در لبنان، سوریه و غزه عقبنشینی نخواهد کرد و ارتش به دفاع از مرزها در برابر تهدیدات جهادی از بلندیهای حرمون تا عمق غزه ادامه میدهد.
