Abbas Araqchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, said about the agreement with the U.S. to state television: "Probably in the coming days, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between us and the U.S."
He added: "The signing of the memorandum will be done digitally and remotely after passing through the final stages of negotiations, which will be announced."

Abbas Araqchi announced on Friday night during a live television program that no agreement has been signed with the U.S. yet and claimed that Iran's nuclear file has been postponed to the second and final stage of this agreement.

In an interview with the Iranian state television, he said the potential agreement with the United States includes two phases and "we have moved the nuclear issue to the second phase."

This comes as a senior U.S. official told reporters just hours earlier that according to the agreement, Iran's enriched uranium is to be destroyed on its soil and then transferred outside of Iran.

However, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic pointed out that the outcome of the negotiations is a "14-article memorandum" and stated that its contents will be announced after finalization.

In his conversation, the Iranian Foreign Minister reported that according to the decision of the Islamic Republic, "the future of the Strait of Hormuz and its management will not be like before," and claimed that Iran and Oman will issue a joint statement regarding the management of this waterway.

He further acknowledged that according to international law, collecting tolls from ships in the Strait of Hormuz is not possible and added: "However, service fees will be charged, and this will be established in the negotiations."

Araqchi announced that according to the agreement, the U.S. maritime blockade against Iranian ports will be completely lifted, and Iran's frozen assets will be released.

U.S. officials have repeatedly denied the release of these assets. J.D. Vance, the U.S. Vice President, clarified just hours ago that after the signing of the agreement, no financial resources will be made available to Iran.
