The latest report from the "Technology Transparency Project" shows that YouTube has hosted 84 channels linked to individuals and entities on the U.S. sanctions list; some of them have still been generating revenue through advertisements on this platform.
According to the report, 56 channels are associated with individuals and entities on the SDN sanctions list, while 28 other channels are linked to government and official entities. Among the identified examples are names of organizations and media outlets, as well as some businesses and individuals.
Following the release of the report's findings, Google removed 63 channels within a few hours. Google has stated that it complies with U.S. sanctions laws and takes necessary actions to enforce regulations.
In the published list of identified channels, names such as Nobitex, Wallex, Bitpin, Ramzinex, Bahman Group, Mahan Air, Fars News, Press TV, IRNA, Pasargad Bank, Al-Mustafa University, and several political and media figures and channels can be seen, including Ali Akbar Velayati, Amir Hossein Sabati, Babak Zanjani, and Masoud Pezeshkian.

گزارش تازه «پروژه شفافیت فناوری» نشان میدهد یوتیوب میزبان ۸۴ کانال مرتبط با افراد و نهادهایی بوده که در فهرست تحریمهای آمریکا قرار دارند؛ بخشی از آنها همچنان از طریق نمایش تبلیغات در این پلتفرم درآمدزایی میکردهاند.
بر اساس این گزارش، ۵۶ کانال به اشخاص و اتباع تحریمشده در فهرست SDN و ۲۸ کانال دیگر به نهادهای دولتی و رسمی مرتبط بودهاند. در میان نمونههای شناساییشده، نامهایی از نهادها و رسانهها و همچنین برخی کسبوکارها و افراد قرار دارد.
پس از انتشار نتایج این گزارش، شرکت گوگل ۶۳ کانال را ظرف چند ساعت حذف کرده است. گوگل اعلام کرده که به قوانین تحریمی آمریکا پایبند است و اقدامات لازم برای اجرای مقررات را انجام میدهد.
در فهرست منتشر شده از کانالهای شناساییشده، نامهایی مانند نوبیتکس، والکس، بیتپین، رمزینکس، گروه بهمن، ماهان ایر، فارسنیوز، پرستیوی، ایرنا، بانک پاسارگاد، دانشگاه المصطفی و همچنین برخی چهرهها و کانالهای سیاسی و رسانهای دیده میشود. مانند علیاکبر ولایتی، امیرحسین ثابتی، بابک زنجانی و مسعود پزشکیان.
