A senior U.S. government official told Reuters that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, will meet with leaders from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and some other Middle Eastern leaders at the G7 summit.

According to this official, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, will not be present at Trump's meetings with Middle Eastern leaders.

The summit of the leaders of the seven advanced economies, known as the "Group of Seven," will be held from June 15 to 17 in the city of Évian, France.

Ismail Baqai, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said at a press conference that the likelihood of finalizing a memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington in the "coming days" is high.

In response to a question about the possibility of the Iranian negotiating delegation traveling to Geneva or Islamabad in the next two days to finalize the memorandum, he said: "We need to wait for the exact timing of the signing."

Baqai added: "We do not have plans to travel to Geneva or elsewhere in the next couple of days."

یک مقام ارشد دولت آمریکا به رویترز گفت که دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، در نشست گروه هفت با رهبران امارات متحده عربی و قطر و برخی دیگر از رهبران خاورمیانه دیدار خواهد کرد.

به گفته این مقام، بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل، در دیدارهای ترامپ با رهبران خاورمیانه هفت حضور نخواهد داشت.

نشست رهبران هفت اقتصاد پیشرفته جهان، موسوم به «گروه هفت» ۲۵ تا ۲۷ خرداد در شهر اویان فرانسه برگزار خواهد شد.

اسماعیل بقائی، سخنگوی وزارت خارجه جمهوری اسلامی، در نشست خبری گفت احتمال نهایی شدن یادداشت تفاهم میان تهران و واشینگتن در «روزهای آتی» بالا است.

او در پاسخ به پرسشی درباره احتمال سفر هیات مذاکره‌کننده جمهوری اسلامی به ژنو یا اسلام‌آباد در دو روز آینده برای نهایی کردن یادداشت تفاهم، گفت: «درباره زمان دقیق امضا باید منتظر بمانیم.»

بقائی افزود: «برنامه‌ای برای سفر به ژنو یا جایی دیگر ظرف یکی دو روز آینده نداریم.»
