Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the senior negotiator of the Islamic Republic in the agreement talks with the United States, announced that following Israel's attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, continuing the path of the agreement with the U.S. is "not possible."
On Sunday, Qalibaf wrote in a message on the social media platform X that the recent attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut once again demonstrated that the U.S. either lacks the will to fulfill its commitments or is incapable of doing so.
He added that attempts to gain concessions by giving a green light to Israel will yield no results, and the "good cop, bad cop" policy is no longer effective.
He emphasized: "If you lack the will and ability to fulfill your commitments, talking about continuing the path is not possible."

The official account of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted on Sunday, June 24, to Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf's statements, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, on the social media platform X, stating that the Islamic Republic "is lying as always."
In this message, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Israel will not tolerate fire directed at its territory and reminded that Hezbollah attacked Israel again on Sunday morning "without any prior provocation."
The message noted that Hezbollah continuously targets Israeli civilians and has not stopped its attacks against Israel even after a ceasefire was established.
On the day that, according to Donald Trump, the agreement to end the war between Iran and the U.S. was supposed to be signed, Qalibaf wrote on X that the attack by Israel "on Dahieh once again showed that the U.S. either has no will to fulfill its commitments or lacks the capability. You cannot gain concessions by giving a green light to the regime. The old good cop, bad cop game is outdated. If you lack the will and ability to fulfill your commitments, talking about continuing the path is not possible."

محمدباقر قالیباف، مذاکره‌کننده ارشد جمهوری اسلامی در گفت‌وگوهای توافق با آمریکا، اعلام کرد پس از حمله اسراییل به حومه جنوبی بیروت، ادامه مسیر توافق با آمریکا «ممکن نیست».
قالیباف روز یکشنبه در پیامی در شبکه اجتماعی ایکس نوشت حمله اخیر به حومه جنوبی بیروت بار دیگر نشان داد که آمریکا یا اراده لازم برای اجرای تعهدات خود را ندارد یا از توان انجام آن برخوردار نیست.
او افزود تلاش برای کسب امتیاز از طریق چراغ سبز نشان دادن به اسراییل نتیجه‌ای نخواهد داشت و سیاست «پلیس خوب و پلیس بد» دیگر کارایی گذشته را ندارد.
او تاکید کرد: «اگر اراده و توان اجرای تعهدات خود را ندارید، سخن گفتن از ادامه مسیر ممکن نیست.»

حساب رسمی وزارت خارجه اسرائیل، روز یکشنبه ۲۴ خرداد ماه در واکنش به اظهارات محمدباقر قالیباف، رئیس مجلس شورای اسلامی در شبکه اجتماعی ایکس نوشت: جمهوری اسلامی «مثل همیشه دروغ می‌گوید.»
وزارت خارجه اسرائیل در این پیام با بیان آنکه اسرائیل شلیک به خاک خود را تحمل نخواهد کرد یادآور شد، حزب‌الله، صبح روز یکشنبه «بدون هیچ‌گونه تحریک قبلی» بار دیگر به اسرائیل حمله کرده است.
در این پیام آمده است حزب‌الله به طور مداوم غیرنظامیان اسرائیلی را هدف قرار می‌دهد و حتی پس از برقراری آتش‌بس نیز حملات خود علیه اسرائیل را متوقف نکرده است.
قالیباف در روزی که به گفته دونالد ترامپ قرار بود توافق پایان جنگ میان ایران و آمریکا امضا شود، در ایکس نوشت حمله اسرائیل «به ضاحیه بار دیگر نشان داد آمریکا یا اراده‌ای برای اجرای تعهدات خود ندارد یا توان آن را. با چراغ سبز نشان دادن به رژیم نمی‌توانید امتیاز بگیرید. بازی پلیس بد و پلیس خوب قدیمی شده است. اگر اراده و توان اجرای تعهدات خود را ندارید، سخن گفتن از ادامه مسیر ممکن نیست.»
