Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of Britain, announced that he "warmly welcomes" the agreement reached between the United States and the Iranian government, describing it as "a very important step forward towards ending the war, ensuring regional stability, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz."
In a statement released on social media on Sunday, Starmer added: "We are ready to support the technical discussions that will now begin. Our priority is to ensure that this agreement leads to a sustainable and lasting peace, and we will work with international partners to achieve this goal."
He stated that Britain's support could, if necessary, include "launching an independent and multilateral defense mission, in which Britain and France have so far played a leading role in planning; particularly to provide assistance in mine clearance" in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Prime Minister of Britain also emphasized: "Britain's firm and longstanding position remains that Iran must never acquire nuclear weapons."

Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, welcomed the agreement reached between Washington and Tehran in a message on the social media platform X early on Monday, June 25, and called for its swift and complete implementation by all parties involved.
Macron stated that this agreement should pave the way for the immediate and unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. He added that the international mission established in cooperation with Britain is ready to support this process, and the resumption of maritime traffic without restrictions and tariffs is essential for regional stability and the global economy.
The President of France also mentioned that this agreement could pave the way for broader negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear and missile programs and security issues in the Middle East. He emphasized that France is ready to play a role alongside its partners in achieving lasting peace in the region.
In another part of his message, Macron reiterated France's support for the Lebanese government's efforts to restore the full sovereignty of the country and stated that establishing a lasting ceasefire is essential to achieve this goal.

استارمر در بیانیه‌ای که روز یکشنبه در شبکه‌های اجتماعی منتشر کرد، افزود: «ما آماده‌ایم از گفت‌وگوهای فنی که اکنون آغاز خواهد شد حمایت کنیم. اولویت ما این است که این توافق به صلحی پایدار و ماندگار تبدیل شود و برای تحقق این هدف با شرکای بین‌المللی همکاری خواهیم کرد.»
او گفت حمایت بریتانیا می‌تواند، در صورت نیاز، شامل «راه‌اندازی ماموریت دفاعی، مستقل و چندجانبه‌ای باشد که بریتانیا و فرانسه تاکنون نقش پیشرو در برنامه‌ریزی آن داشته‌اند؛ به‌ویژه برای ارائه کمک در زمینه پاکسازی مین‌ها» در تنگه هرمز.

امانوئل مکرون، رئیس‌جمهوری فرانسه، بامداد دوشنبه ۲۵ خردادماه در پیامی در شبکه اجتماعی اکس از توافق حاصل‌شده میان واشنگتن وتهران استقبال کرد و خواستار اجرای سریع و کامل آن از سوی همه طرف‌های درگیر شد.
مکرون گفت این توافق باید زمینه بازگشایی فوری و بدون قید و شرط تنگه هرمز را فراهم کند. او افزود ماموریت بین‌المللی ایجادشده با همکاری بریتانیا آماده پشتیبانی از این روند است و ازسرگیری تردد دریایی بدون محدودیت و عوارض، برای ثبات منطقه‌ای و اقتصاد جهانی ضروری است.
رئیس‌جمهوری فرانسه همچنین گفت این توافق می‌تواند راه را برای مذاکراتی گسترده‌تر درباره برنامه هسته‌ای و موشکی ایران و مسائل امنیتی خاورمیانه هموار کند. او تاکید کرد فرانسه آماده است در کنار شرکای خود برای دستیابی به صلحی پایدار در منطقه نقش‌آفرینی کند.
مکرون در بخش دیگری از پیام خود بر حمایت فرانسه از تلاش‌های دولت لبنان برای بازگرداندن حاکمیت کامل این کشور تاکید کرد و گفت برقراری آتش‌بسی پایدار برای تحقق این هدف ضروری است.
