Ghalibaf before regime change: Negotiating with the killer of Soleimani is not honorable

With the news of an agreement between Washington and Tehran being published, a video of Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, has been reshared on social media from Saturday, February 9, 2024.
Ghalibaf, at the sixth special conference for commanders and staff of the IRGC Command Headquarters, in response to a question about the difference between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, said: "There is definitely a difference; Trump is the killer of martyr Soleimani. Can we be indifferent? So it definitely matters to us."
He also referred to Ali Khamenei's stance on negotiating with the U.S., stating: "The dear leader says it is not honorable, well, it is not honorable."

قالیباف پیش از چنج‌رژیم: مذاکره با قاتل سلیمانی شرافتمندانه نیست

همزمان با انتشار خبر توافق میان واشنگتن و تهران، ویدیویی از اظهارات محمدباقر قالیباف، رئیس مجلس شورای اسلامی، در روز شنبه ۲۰ بهمن‌ماه ۱۴۰۳ بار دیگر در شبکه‌های اجتماعی بازنشر شده است.
قالیباف در ششمین همایش ویژه فرماندهان و کارکنان ستاد فرماندهی سپاه، در پاسخ به پرسشی درباره تفاوت کامالا هریس و دونالد ترامپ گفته بود: «حتما فرق دارد، ترامپ قاتل شهید سلیمانی است. مگر ما می‌توانیم بی‌تفاوت باشیم؟ پس حتما برای ما فرق می‌کند.»
او همچنین با اشاره به مواضع علی خامنه‌ای درباره مذاکره با آمریکا گفته بود: حضرت آقا می‌فرمایند شرافتمندانه نیست، خب شرافتمندانه نیست.
