Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on Monday, June 15, via a message on the social media platform Truth Social that ships, including oil tankers, have begun moving from the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump wrote: "Ships are on the move; many of them are loaded with oil and are exiting the Strait of Hormuz. They are taking the southern route; a route that is completely safe, secure, and clear."
The U.S. President also added: "There are other routes available for transit."

Trump's message comes as the Islamic Republic of Iran's state television reported on Monday in a video report: "For over 96 hours, the Navy of the Revolutionary Guard has not issued any transit permits."
Earlier, Reuters reported that the first liquefied natural gas tanker had passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Monday morning after the announcement of the end of the war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States.

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، روز دوشنبه ۲۵ خردادماه در پیامی در شبکه اجتماعی تروث سوشال اعلام کرد کشتی‌ها، از جمله نفتکش‌های حامل نفت، حرکت از تنگه هرمز را آغاز کرده‌اند.
ترامپ نوشت: «کشتی‌ها در حال حرکت هستند؛ بسیاری از آن‌ها با نفت بارگیری شده‌اند و از تنگه هرمز خارج می‌شوند. آن‌ها از مسیر جنوبی حرکت می‌کنند؛ مسیری که کاملا امن، مطمئن و پاک است.»
رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا همچنین افزود: «مسیرهای دیگری نیز برای تردد وجود دارد.»

پیام ترامپ در حالی منتشر می‌شود که صدا و سیمای جمهوری اسلامی ایران، روز دوشنبه در گزارشی تصویری اعلام کرده بود: «بیش از ۹۶ ساعت است که نیروی دریایی سپاه هیچ مجوز عبوری صادر نکرده است.»
پیشتر رویترز گزارش داده بود، نخستین نفتکش حامل گاز طبیعی مایع پس از اعلام پایان جنگ جمهوری اسلامی ایران و آمریکا، صبح دوشنبه از تنگه هرمز عبور کرده است.
