A senior U.S. official announced on Monday that a memorandum of understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic has been signed by Donald Trump, the President of the United States, J.D. Vance, the Vice President of the United States, and Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Republic's Parliament.

He stated that in the next phase of negotiations, the current deployment of U.S. military forces will be maintained, but a reduction in military personnel is planned if a final agreement is reached.

This official also mentioned that technical negotiations will begin later this week, and the details of the agreement will be published within the next 24 to 48 hours.

He added that the release of frozen assets and the reduction of sanctions are contingent upon the fulfillment of commitments.

This senior U.S. official also said, "We were not satisfied with the performance of the Omanis in the pre-war negotiations."

یک مقام ارشد آمریکایی روز دوشنبه اعلام کرد تفاهم‌نامه میان آمریکا و جمهوری اسلامی به امضای دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، جی‌دی ونس، معاون رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، و محمدباقر قالیباف، رییس مجلس جمهوری اسلامی، رسیده است.

او گفت در مرحله بعدی مذاکرات، آرایش فعلی نیروهای نظامی آمریکا حفظ خواهد شد، اما در صورت دستیابی به توافق نهایی، کاهش نیروهای نظامی در نظر گرفته شده است.

این مقام همچنین گفت مذاکرات فنی از اواخر این هفته آغاز می‌شود و جزییات توافق طی ۲۴ تا ۴۸ ساعت آینده منتشر خواهد شد.

او افزود آزادسازی دارایی‌های مسدودشده و کاهش تحریم‌ها به اجرای تعهدات وابسته است.

این مقام ارشد آمریکایی همچنین گفت: «از عملکرد عمانی‌ها در مذاکرات پیش از جنگ رضایت نداشتیم.»
