Following Trump's statement:
Lindsey Graham, the Republican senator from the U.S., wrote on X that the expansion of the Abraham Accords and the establishment of stability and prosperity in the Middle East is one of Donald Trump's most important goals, and this goal will be achieved when the Islamic Republic is weakened or changes its behavior.
He added that he hopes the upcoming negotiations to end Iran's nuclear program will be successful.
Lindsey Graham further stated: "The Islamic Republic and its proxy forces have been severely weakened, and their ability to orchestrate an event similar to October 7 no longer exists."
He continued: "If the conflict with the Islamic Republic leads to the expansion of the Abraham Accords, regional convergence, and lasting peace, this outcome will be one of the most successful military operations in American history."

لیندزی گراهام، سناتور جمهوریخواه آمریکا، در شبکه ایکس نوشت گسترش توافقهای ابراهیم و ایجاد ثبات و رفاه در خاورمیانه یکی از مهمترین اهداف دونالد ترامپ است و این هدف زمانی محقق میشود که جمهوری اسلامی تضعیف شود یا رفتار خود را تغییر دهد.
او افزود که امیدوار است مذاکرات پیش رو برای پایان دادن به برنامه هستهای ایران موفق باشد.
لیندزی گراهام اضافه کرد: «جمهوری اسلامی و نیروهای نیابتی آن بهشدت تضعیف شدهاند و توانایی آنها برای رقم زدن رخدادی مشابه هفتم اکتبر دیگر وجود ندارد.»
او ادامه داد: «اگر درگیری با جمهوری اسلامی به گسترش توافقهای ابراهیم، همگرایی منطقهای و صلح پایدار منجر شود، این نتیجه یکی از موفقترین عملیاتهای نظامی در تاریخ آمریکا خواهد بود.»
