According to NBC, the Iranian government has continued to launch a "large" number of drones towards commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz following the announcement of a memorandum of understanding with the United States. NBC reported, citing an American official, that the Revolutionary Guard has launched drones that the U.S. was able to intercept before they posed a threat to commercial vessels, military ships, and crews present in the area. According to the report, the Revolutionary Guard has been launching drones every night since the "electronic" signing of the memorandum of understanding on Sunday.

به گزارش انبیسی، حکومت ایران پس از اعلام یادداشت تفاهم با آمریکا، همچنان تعداد «زیادی» پهپاد به سمت شناورهای تجاری در تنگه هرمز پرتاب کرده است.
شبکه انبیسی به نقل از یک مقام آمریکایی گزارش داده که سپاه پاسداران پهپادهایی پرتاب کرده که آمریکا توانسته آنها را پیش از آنکه تهدیدی برای شناورهای تجاری، کشتیهای نظامی و خدمه حاضر در منطقه ایجاد کنند، رهگیری کند.
بر اساس این گزارش، سپاه پاسداران از زمان امضای «الکترونیکی» یادداشت تفاهم در روز یکشنبه، هر شب اقدام به پرتاب پهپاد کرده است.
