Mahmoud Ghanbari Rad, a network security specialist and an employee of one of the companies in Tehran, is facing charges including "conspiracy against national security," "collecting classified information," and "providing information to Israel."
According to reports, Mahmoud Ghanbari Rad, a 40-year-old married citizen, was arrested in May of this year at his personal residence. An informed source told Deutsche Welle that he has no history of political or civil activity and has been working as a network security specialist.
Reports indicate that he described his case as "fabricated" during a phone call from prison and stated that he is under pressure to accept the charges. It has also been reported that he has been denied access to a lawyer since his arrest.
According to published information, Mahmoud Ghanbari Rad was initially held in Evin Prison for about a month before being transferred to Fashafouyeh Prison. It has also been mentioned that he suffers from a type of neurological disorder, and his family has expressed concern about his physical and legal situation.

محمود قنبریراد، متخصص امنیت شبکه و از کارکنان یکی از شرکتهای تهران، با اتهاماتی از جمله «اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت ملی»، «جمعآوری اطلاعات طبقهبندیشده» و «ارائه اطلاعات به اسرائیل» روبهرو شده است.
بر اساس گزارشها، محمود قنبریراد، شهروندی ۴۰ ساله و متأهل، اردیبهشتماه سال جاری در منزل شخصی خود بازداشت شده است.
یک منبع مطلع به دویچهوله گفته بود که او هیچ سابقه فعالیت سیاسی یا مدنی نداشته و بهعنوان متخصص امنیت شبکه مشغول به کار بوده است.
گزارشها حاکی است که او در تماس تلفنی از زندان، پرونده خود را «ساختگی» توصیف کرده و گفته است که برای پذیرش اتهامات تحت فشار قرار دارد. همچنین اعلام شده که وی از زمان بازداشت تاکنون از دسترسی به وکیل محروم بوده است.
بر اساس اطلاعات منتشرشده، محمود قنبریراد ابتدا حدود یک ماه در زندان اوین نگهداری شده و سپس به زندان فشافویه منتقل شده است.
همچنین گفته شده که او از نوعی اختلال عصبی رنج میبرد و خانوادهاش نسبت به وضعیت جسمی و حقوقی او ابراز نگرانی کردهاند.
