The Haaretz newspaper wrote in an analysis that Donald Trump's agreement with the Islamic Republic, contrary to Benjamin Netanyahu's expectations, not only did not strengthen his political position but also created an unprecedented rift between Washington and Tel Aviv, putting the Israeli Prime Minister in a new crisis on the eve of elections.

Haaretz noted that Netanyahu hoped Trump's visit to Israel and the public support of the U.S. President would be his most significant advantage in the upcoming elections. According to the newspaper, Netanyahu expected this visit to take place after a "complete victory" over the Islamic Republic, the fall of the Iranian regime, and the transfer of enriched uranium reserves. However, now none of these goals have been achieved, and Trump criticizes the Israeli Prime Minister almost daily with humiliating remarks. Haaretz added that the U.S.-Islamic Republic agreement is widely regarded in Israel as "catastrophic," as Trump has ended the war without achieving the declared objectives, contrary to his initial promises.

روزنامه هاآرتص در تحلیلی نوشت توافق دونالد ترامپ با جمهوری اسلامی، برخلاف انتظار بنیامین نتانیاهو، نه‌تنها به تقویت موقعیت سیاسی او منجر نشد، بلکه شکاف بی‌سابقه‌ای میان واشینگتن و تل‌آویو ایجاد کرده و نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل را در آستانه انتخابات با بحرانی تازه روبه‌رو کرده است.

روزنامه هاآرتص در تحلیلی نوشت نتانیاهو امیدوار بود سفر ترامپ به اسرائیل و حمایت علنی رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، مهم‌ترین برگ برنده او در انتخابات پیش‌رو باشد.
به نوشته این روزنامه، نتانیاهو انتظار داشت این سفر پس از «پیروزی کامل» بر جمهوری اسلامی، سقوط حکومت ایران و انتقال ذخایر اورانیوم غنی‌شده برگزار شود، اما اکنون نه‌تنها هیچ‌یک از این اهداف محقق نشده، بلکه ترامپ تقریباً هر روز با اظهاراتی تحقیرآمیز از نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل انتقاد می‌کند.
هاآرتص افزود توافق آمریکا و جمهوری اسلامی در اسرائیل به‌طور گسترده «فاجعه‌بار» تلقی می‌شود، زیرا ترامپ برخلاف وعده‌های اولیه خود، جنگ را بدون تحقق اهداف اعلام‌شده پایان داده است.
