Naim Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah Lebanon, said: "As long as we have the ability to resist, why should we surrender?" He rejected the disarmament of Hezbollah, adding that these weapons are for confronting Israel. Naim Qassem also stated that we made a decision "in the style of Karbala," and this decision remains in effect. The Secretary-General of Hezbollah Lebanon continued: "We have maintained the unity of the resistance forces, and the unity of the Amal Movement, Hezbollah, and other forces remains alongside us."

نعیم قاسم، دبیرکل حزب‌الله لبنان، گفت: «تا زمانی که توان ایستادگی داریم، چرا باید تسلیم شویم؟.»
او تحویل سلاح‌های حزب‌الله را رد کرد و افزود این سلاح‌ها برای مقابله با اسرائیل هستند.
نعیم قاسم همچنین گفت که ما تصمیمی «به سبک کربلا» گرفتیم و این تصمیم همچنان به قوت خود باقی است.
دبیرکل حزب‌الله لبنان ادامه داد: «ما وحدت نیروهای مقاومت را حفظ کرده‌ایم و وحدت جنبش امل، حزب‌الله و سایر نیروها همچنان در کنار ما برقرار است.»
