A video shared by Hajer Naderi, the mother of Matin Parvizi, on her personal page shows her next to her son's grave, where she says, "I didn't just teach my son about Ya Hussein and thirst; I taught him to stand up against oppression."
Ms. Naderi continues by describing her son's death during the protests on January 7th, stating that this year, during Muharram, she will mourn for the children of the homeland who were "unjustly killed," adding, "I know Imam Hussein will also mourn for these young people."
Matin Parvizi was shot in the head by government forces with live ammunition on January 7th of last year in Sabzeh Meydan, Zanjan.

خانم نادری در ادامه با شرح کشته شدن فرزندش در اعتراضات ۱۸ دیماه میگوید امسال محرم برای فرزندان میهن که «ناجوانمردانه کشته شدند» عزاداری خواهد کرد و ادامه میدهد که «میدانم امام حسین هم برای این جوانان عزاداری خواهد کرد»
متین پرویزی ۱۸ دیماه سال گذشته در سبزهمیدان زنجان با شلیک گلوله جنگی نیروهای حکومتی به سرش کشته شد.
