The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed to all vessels in response to "the violation of U.S. commitments in implementing the ceasefire" and "Israeli attacks in Lebanon." The Navy also urged vessels not to approach the Strait of Hormuz and warned that otherwise, their security would be jeopardized.

The Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, a unit of the Revolutionary Guards, also stated that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed to shipping traffic due to "the treachery and breach of contract" by the U.S. regarding the non-implementation of the first clause of the memorandum.

On Saturday, the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya added that this step is the first "response to the enemy's breach of contract," and if this situation continues, further steps will be planned and taken to "hold the enemy accountable for fulfilling its commitments."

Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, quoted a military source in the Navy of the Guards, stating on Saturday evening that the Strait of Hormuz has been completely closed for a few minutes.

Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon on Saturday left at least 10 dead. Israel stated that these attacks were in response to the firing of shells by Hezbollah, the group supported by the Islamic Republic.

نیروی دریایی سپاه پاسداران اعلام کرد تنگه هرمز در واکنش به «نقض تعهدات امریکا در اجرای آتش‌بس» و «حملات اسرائیل در لبنان»، به روی همه شناورها بسته شد.
نیروی دریایی سپاه همچنین از شناورها خواست به تنگه هرمز نزدیک نشوند و هشدار داد در غیر این صورت، امنیت آن‌ها به خطر خواهد افتاد.

قرارگاه مرکزی خاتم‌الانبیا، واحدی از سپاه پاسداران هم اعلام کرد تنگه هرمز به‌دلیل «بدعهدی و پیمان‌شکنی» امریکا نسبت به‌عدم اجرای بند اول تفاهم‌نامه، به روی تردد کشتی‌ها بسته شده است.

قرارگاه مرکزی خاتم‌الانبیا روز شنبه اضافه کرد این گام اول «پاسخ به عهدشکنی دشمن» است و در صورت ادامه این وضعیت، گام‌های بعدی برای «پایبند کردن دشمن به اجرای تعهدات»، برنامه‌ریزی و اقدام خواهد شد.

خبرگزاری فارس، وابسته به سپاه پاسداران به نقل از یک منبع نظامی در نیروی دریایی سپاه، عصر شنبه اعلام کرد که تنگه هرمز از دقایقی پیش به‌طور کامل بسته شده است.

حملات اسرائیل به جنوب لبنان در روز شنبه دست‌کم ۱۰ کشته بر جا گذاشته است. اسرائیل اعلام کرد این حملات در واکنش به پرتاب گلوله‌هایی از سوی حزب‌الله، گروه مورد حمایت جمهوری اسلامی، انجام شد.
