Donald Trump, the President of the United States, on Wednesday, in response to reporters' questions about whether a deadline had been set for Tehran before the start of U.S. attacks on Iran's bridges, stated that he has no interest in setting a deadline.

Trump said, "I don't like to set deadlines, but they pretty much know; they are aware of the situation... they better change their behavior."

This comes as the U.S. President had earlier threatened the Iranian government that if an agreement with Washington is not reached by next week, the country's power plants will be targeted. He told Fox News' "Special Report" that if Tehran does not accept the agreement, he will expand attacks on Iran's power plants and bridges next week: "Next week, their situation will really get bad; because it will be the turn of the power plants; it will be the turn of the bridges."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، روز چهارشنبه در پاسخ به پرسش خبرنگاران درباره این‌که آیا پیش از آغاز حملات آمریکا به پل‌های ایران، مهلتی برای تهران تعیین شده است، گفت که علاقه‌ای به تعیین ضرب‌الاجل ندارد.

ترامپ گفت: «من دوست ندارم مهلت تعیین کنم، اما آنها تقریباً می‌دانند؛ آنها از ماجرا خبر دارند... بهتر است رفتارشان را اصلاح کنند.»

این در حالی است که رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا ساعاتی پیش حکومت ایران را تهدید کرده بود که اگر تا هفتۀ آینده با واشینگتن به توافق نرسد، نیروگاه‌های این کشور هدف قرار خواهد گرفت.
او به برنامۀ «گزارش ویژه» شبکۀ خبری فاکس‌نیوز گفت اگر تهران توافق را نپذیرد، هفتۀ آینده حملات را به نیروگاه‌ها و پل‌های ایران گسترش خواهد داد: «هفتۀ آینده وضعشان واقعاً بد خواهد شد؛ چون نوبت نیروگاه‌ها می‌رسد؛ نوبت به پل‌ها می‌رسد».
