Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on Wednesday, July 15, during his speech at the "U.S. Army War College" in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, that Iran "will soon be defeated."
He referred to recent U.S. attacks against Iran, stating that despite what he called "military operations," the oil market did not experience a significant surge, and contrary to expectations, prices have not risen dramatically.
Trump added that many expected oil prices to rise to $350 per barrel, but currently, it is around $79, and just a few days ago, it even dropped to $68. The U.S. President also mentioned that the actions taken in response to what he described as "Iran's non-compliance" have been limited, and if conditions calm down, oil prices could potentially drop to around $55 or even lower.

دونالد ترامپ، رئیسجمهوری آمریکا، روز چهارشنبه ۲۴ تیر در سخنرانی خود در «دانشکده جنگ ارتش ایالات متحده» در کارلایل پنسیلوانیا، گفت ایران «بهزودی شکست خواهد خورد.»
او با اشاره به حملات اخیر آمریکا علیه ایران گفت با وجود آنچه «عملیات نظامی» خواند، بازار نفت دچار جهش شدید نشده و برخلاف پیشبینیها، قیمتها افزایش چشمگیری نداشته است.
ترامپ افزود بسیاری انتظار داشتند قیمت نفت تا ۳۵۰ دلار در هر بشکه افزایش یابد، اما این رقم در حال حاضر حدود ۷۹ دلار است و حتی چند روز پیش به ۶۸ دلار نیز رسیده بود.
رئیسجمهوری آمریکا همچنین گفت اقداماتی که به گفته او در واکنش به «عدم پایبندی ایران» انجام شده، محدود بوده و در صورت آرام شدن شرایط، قیمت نفت ممکن است به حدود ۵۵ دلار یا حتی کمتر کاهش یابد.
