Mohsen Rezaei, military advisor to Mojtaba Khamenei, said on state television: "If America continues its attacks for another two or three days, we will enter a phase of aggression and complete destruction, and we will recognize no political boundaries for our attacks."

He continued that the policy of "both war and negotiation" has completely ended, and now our strategy is based on deterrence, decisive retaliation, and a "tooth for a tooth" response to the enemy's missile attacks, and we will strike the enemy with missiles.

The military advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic stated that there is no longer anything called the Islamabad Agreement, both in name and in practice.

Mohsen Rezaei mentioned that he predicts that if negotiations begin, the opposing side intends to "make amendments to the text and essentially write a new agreement." He further stated that the situation has changed and such a thing is not possible.

محسن رضایی، مشاور نظامی مجتبی خامنه‌ای، در صدا و سیما گفت: اگر آمریکا دو سه روز دیگر به حملات خود ادامه دهند، وارد فاز تهاجم و انهدام کامل خواهیم شد و هیچ مرز سیاسی‌ای برای حملات خود نمی‌شناسیم.

او ادامه داد سیاست «هم جنگ، هم مذاکره» به طور کامل پایان یافته و اکنون راهبرد ما بر پایه بازدارندگی، مقابله به مثل قاطع و پاسخ «چشم در برابر چشم» به حملات موشکی دشمن استوار است و ما موشک در دهان دشمن می‌زنیم.

مشاور نظامی رهبر جمهوری اسلامی می‌گوید هم اسماً و هم عملاً چیزی به نام تفاهم‌نامۀ اسلام‌آباد دیگر وجود ندارد.

محسن رضایی گفت که پیشبینی می‌کند که اگر مذاکرات شروع شود طرف مقابل قصد دارد «اصلاحاتی در متن ایجاد کند و در واقع تفاهم‌نامۀ جدیدی بنویسند». او در ادامه گفت که اوضاع تغییر کرده و چنین چیزی ممکن نیست.
