Message from the Supreme Leader of the Revolution regarding the great epic farewell of the martyr of Iran and the clarification of important issues in the country

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

O great and astonishing nation of Iran!

Greetings and thanks to you for your unparalleled and historic epic in the unprecedented resurrection of the farewell of the martyr of Iran, establishing a new standard of the manifestation of the mission and the firm will of Islamic-Iranian identity in appreciation, loyalty, insight, and extraordinary affection for the leader of the Islamic Ummah and the martyr leader of the revolution.

The warmth of the molten hearts, tearful eyes, and steadfast determination of the tens of millions of people gathered in Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, and other cities and villages left friends of the Iranian nation and the free people of the world in admiration, while it astonished and bewildered the arrogant enemies of the Iranian nation, filling them with rage and fear.

Simultaneously with this epic, the repeated violations of the Great Satan regarding the agreement signed between the Presidents of Iran and the U.S. once again proved to everyone how worthless and invalid the signature of the U.S. President is, and that bullying, totalitarianism, and savagery are inseparable components of the American creed and ideology. Today, the Great Satan has once again revealed its true and unmasked face, making this dark experience of crime and betrayal another solid document of the lies, irrationality, unreliability, and wickedness of the U.S.

Now that the American enemy is seeking to provoke war and endure heavier costs and greater disgrace, they should know that the dear nation of Iran and the resistance front have unforgettable lessons for them, as the bravery of the Islamic fighters and the valor of the courageous people of the southern region have shown examples of this in recent days.

It is necessary to convey to you, the loyal and proud people of Iran, that one of the most fundamental matters at this time is the insistence on unity of word and sacred unity at all levels of the people and officials and in all arenas to realize the lofty ideals of the Islamic Revolution and to secure the dignity and independence of dear Iran, especially against the criminal and cunning American enemy. As has been repeatedly and emphatically pointed out before, safeguarding unity and avoiding division and conflict, political disagreements, and highlighting social differences is a collective duty, and of course, the role of officials and devoted and passionate elements of the revolution and the martyr leader in the cohesion and integrity of the country is more important and sensitive.

Based on this, dear nation, by continuing to trust the devoted officials in all three branches, whose efforts for the welfare and happiness of the nation are evident, will remain vigilant and active in the field to ensure the protection of the interests of Islamic Iran. It is possible that some, with complete sincerity and goodwill, may have criticisms regarding the performance of certain officials. In my opinion, while this concern and attention for the system, like for their own individuals, is considered a valuable asset and is in itself a desirable matter, these dear ones, some of whom are among the pioneers of insight, must be careful that this approach does not unjustly harm the innocent, as this itself leads to deprivation of blessings and favors. Secondly, it should not cause a failure in social unity and cohesion; with the preservation of these aspects, criticisms will lead to the flourishing and blossoming of affairs.

The enemy should not receive any sign of weakness from us, including this weakness; whenever we fully observe these precautions, they will inevitably face defeat.

Once again, I sincerely thank each and every dear person who, being the owner of the mourning for the martyr father of the Ummah, created a historic epic in the great farewell of the martyr of Iran despite difficulties and some limitations and adversities.

I also thank the esteemed religious authorities, scholars, thinkers, elites, cultural, social, and political activists, and the efforts and endeavors of national and military institutions, as well as the presence of officials and representatives of the proud resistance front and the glorious Islamic movements. I hope that all those who have participated, supported, and empathized in this historic epic in any way will be included in the special grace and prayers of our master, may God hasten his reappearance.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

ملت عظیم‌الشأن و شگفتی‌ساز ایران!

سلام و درود و سپاس بر شما که با حماسه‌ی بی‌نظیر و تاریخی خود در رستاخیز بی‌سابقه‌ی بدرقه‌ی آقای شهید ایران، نصاب تازه‌ای از جلوه‌ی بعثت و اراده‌ی مستحکم هویت اسلامی ـ ایرانی را در قدرشناسی، وفاداری، بصیرت، و ابراز محبت فوق‌العاده به زعیم امت اسلامی و رهبر شهید انقلاب ثابت کردید.

گرمای دل‌های گداخته، چشمان اشکبار و عزم‌های استوار جمعیت ده‌ها میلیونی و ده‌ها کیلومتری در تهران، قم، مشهد، و سایر شهرها و روستاها، دوستان ملت ایران و مردم آزاده‌ی جهان را به تحسین و دشمنان مستکبر ملت ایران را به حیرت و سرگردانی و خشم و وحشت انداخت.

همزمان با این حماسه، نقض عهدهای مکرر شیطان بزرگ نسبت به تفاهم‌نامه امضاشده بین رئیس‌جمهوران ایران و امریکا بار دیگر این حقیقت را به همگان ثابت کرد که امضای رئیس‌جمهور امریکا چقدر بی‌ارزش و نامعتبر است و زورگویی، تمامیت‌خواهی و وحشی‌گری، اجزاء لاینفک مرام و مسلک امریکایی می‌باشد. امروز شیطان بزرگ بار دیگر چهره‌ی واقعی و بدون نقاب خود را آشکار کرده تا این تجربه‌ی تاریک از جنایت و بدعهدی، سند محکم دیگری بر دروغگویی، غیرمنطقی و غیرقابل‌اعتماد و پلید بودن امریکا باشد.

اکنون که دشمن امریکایی به دنبال جنگ‌افروزی و تحمل هزینه‌های سنگین‌تر و بی‌آبرویی بیشتر است، بداند که ملت عزیز ایران و جبهه‌ی مقاومت، درس‌های فراموش‌نشدنی برای او دارد که رشادت‌های رزمندگان اسلام و غیرت مردمان شجاع خطه‌ی جنوب در این روزها نمونه‌هایی از آن را نشان داده است.

لازم است به شما مردم باوفا و سرافراز ایران عرض شود که از جمله اصولی‌ترین امور در این برهه، اصرار بر وحدت کلمه و اتحاد مقدس در همه‌ی سطوح مردم و مسئولان و در تمام عرصه‌ها برای تحقق آرمان‌های بلند انقلاب اسلامی و تأمین عزت و استقلال ایران عزیز خصوصاً در برابر دشمن جنایتکار و حیله‌گر امریکایی است. همان‌گونه که پیش از این مکرراً و مؤکداً تذکر داده شد، صیانت از وحدت و پرهیز از تفرقه و تنازع، اختلافات سیاسی و برجسته کردن تفاوت‌های اجتماعی وظیفه‌ی همگانی است و البته نقش مسئولان و عناصر دلسوز و دلباخته‌ی انقلاب و امام و رهبر شهید در انسجام و یکپارچگی کشور، مهم‌تر و حساس‌تر است.

بر این اساس ملت عزیز، با تداوم بر اعتماد به مسئولان دلسوز در هر سه قوه که تلاش ایشان برای رفاه و سعادت ملت، مشهود می‌باشد، همچنان برای تضمین صیانت از منافع ایران اسلامی، هوشیار و فعال در میدان خواهد بود. ممکن است کسانی با اخلاص تمام و از سر خیرخواهی، انتقاداتی نسبت به عملکرد بعضی از مسئولین داشته باشند. به نظر بنده، در عین اینکه این اهتمام و نگرانی ایشان برای نظام همچون اشخاص خودشان، سرمایه‌ی ارزشمندی به شمار می‌آید و فی‌نفسه امری مطلوب قلمداد می‌شود، این عزیزان که بعضی از ایشان از زمره‌ی پیشروان بصیرت هستند باید مراقب باشند تا این رویکرد، اولاً ظلمی را بر بی‌گناهی روا ندارد که آن خود منشأ محرومیت از برکات و عنایات می‌گردد. و ثانیاً موجب شکست در وحدت و انسجام اجتماعی نگردد؛ که با حفظ این جهات، انتقادها موجب رونق و شکوفایی امور خواهد شد.

دشمن نباید هیچ علامت ضعفی و از جمله این ضعف را از ما دریافت کند؛ که هرگاه ما این مراقبت‌ها را به طور کامل مراعات نماییم، او به ناچار رو به هزیمت خواهد گزارد.

بار دیگر از یکایک مردم عزیز که خود، صاحب عزای پدر شهید امت هستند و با وجود دشواری‌ها و برخی محدودیت‌ها و ناملایمات در رویداد عظیم بدرقه‌ی آقای شهید ایران، حماسه‌ای تاریخی خلق کردند صمیمانه قدردانی می‌کنم.

همچنین از مراجع معزز تقلید، علما، اندیشمندان و نخبگان، فعالان فرهنگی، اجتماعی و سیاسی و از اقدامات و تلاش‌های نهادهای کشوری و لشکری و نیز حضور مقامات و نمایندگان جبهه‌ی سرافراز مقاومت و نهضت‌های پرافتخار اسلامی تشکر می‌کنم. امید است همه‌ی کسانی که در این حماسه‌ی تاریخی به هر نحوی حضور و همراهی و همدلی داشته‌اند، مشمول عنایت و دعای خاص سرورمان عجل الله تعالی فرجه الشریف باشند.
