A female underground singer known as "Anita Papist," who is active in Iran, announced on Saturday that she has been sentenced to 74 lashes by a court.
Anita, who shares videos of her singing on social media, has been punished according to the ruling for "offending public morality."
The singer also published an image of the receipt for the confiscation of her passport at the airport and reported that her mobile line has been blocked.
A month ago, the criminal court of Qom province sentenced Parastoo Ahmadi, a singer, and eight other individuals involved in the "Caravanserai Concert" to 74 lashes, a two-year travel ban, and a two-year prohibition from artistic activities separately.
This news quickly topped the headlines and drew a reaction from Amnesty International, but the news of lash sentences for two other female singers and similar reports are currently overshadowed by news of the war and relentless attacks in the southern part of the country.

یک خواننده زیرزمینی زن که با نام «آنیتا پاپیست» در ایران فعالیت میکند روز شنبه با انتشار حکم قضاییاش خبر داد که در دادگاه به ۷۴ ضربه شلاق محکوم شده است.
آنیتا که ویدئوهای آوازخوانی خود را در شبکههای اجتماعی منتشر میکند، طبق آن چه در این حکم آمده، به دلیل «جریحهدار نمودن عفت عمومی» به این مجازات محکوم شده است.
این خواننده همچنین تصویری از رسید توقیف پاسپورتش در فرودگاه را منتشر کرده و خبر داده است که خط موبایلش هم مسدود شده است.
یک ماه پیش دادگاه کیفری استان قم پرستو احمدی، خواننده، و هشت نفر دیگر از دستاندرکاران و نوازندگان «کنسرت کاروانسرا» را به طور جداگانه به ۷۴ ضربه شلاق تعزیری، دو سال ممنوعالخروجی و دو سال ممنوعیت از فعالیت هنری محکوم کرد.
این خبر بهسرعت در صدر اخبار قرار گرفت و واکنش سازمان عفو بینالملل را نیز به دنبال داشت، اما خبر حکم شلاق برای دو خواننده زن دیگر و اخبار اینچنینی این روزها به دلیل اخبار جنگ و حملات بیوقفه به جنوب کشور مورد توجه قرار نمیگیرد.
