The security and law enforcement deputy of Khuzestan province announced on Sunday evening that there was a "U.S. missile attack" on a location near the city of Abadan.
Valiollah Hayati added that this attack did not leave any casualties or injuries.
CENTCOM, the U.S. Central Command in the Middle East, has [not yet] issued a statement regarding this claim.
