Reuters reported, citing a senior official of the Islamic Republic, that mediators have presented a proposal to the Islamic Republic aimed at reducing tensions in the conflict with the United States.

According to the report, this proposal includes a 10-day ceasefire to explore ways to revive the agreement between the Islamic Republic and the United States that was reached last month.

Previously, the spokesperson for the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry announced that proposals had been received through mediators. These statements come amid military tensions between the United States and the Islamic Republic.
Ismail Baqai stated on Monday at a press conference, without providing details, that "the main issue, which is that ideas have been conveyed to the Islamic Republic by some mediators in recent days, is confirmed."
Recent tensions began following attacks by the Islamic Republic on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

خبرگزاری رویترز به نقل از یک مقام ارشد جمهوری اسلامی گزارش داد که میانجی‌ها پیشنهادی را به جمهوری اسلامی ارائه کرده‌اند که هدف آن کاهش تنش در جنگ با آمریکا است.

بر اساس این گزارش، این پیشنهاد شامل یک آتش‌بس ۱۰ روزه برای یافتن راه‌هایی جهت احیای تفاهم‌نامه میان جمهوری اسلامی و آمریکاست که ماه گذشته حاصل شده بود.

پیشتر سخنگوی وزارت خارجه جمهوری اسلامی اعلام کرد که پیشنهادهایی از طریق میانجی‌ها دریافت کرده است. این اظهارات در بحبوحه تنش‌های نظامی میان آمریکا و جمهوری اسلامی مطرح شده است.
اسماعیل بقائی روز دوشنبه در یک نشست خبری بدون ارائه جزئیات افزود: «اصل موضوع که در این روزها ایده‌هایی از سوی برخی میانجی‌ها به جمهوری اسلامی واصل شده، تأیید می‌شود.»
تنش‌های اخیر پس از حملات جمهوری اسلامی به کشتی‌های تجاری در تنگه هرمز آغاز شده است.
