Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, stated at a public event on Tuesday, July 30, that the "level of access" to Mojtaba Khamenei has increased, and criticized "incorrect and inattentive comments" regarding negotiations, emphasizing that all actions related to the negotiations have been carried out "based on the guidelines" of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.
Mojtaba Khamenei was introduced as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic about 10 days after the death of his father on March 9, 2025, but since then, no video or audio files of him have been released.
Abbas Araqchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, recently announced that he has "never" seen Mojtaba Khamenei up close, and during his leadership, only a few have seen him.

مسعود پزشکیان، رئیسجمهور ایران، روز سهشنبه ۳۰ تیرماه در یک مراسم عمومی با بیان اینکه «سطح دسترسی» به مجتبی خامنهای افزایش یافته، گفت تمام اقدامات مربوط به مذاکره «بر اساس رهنمودهای» رهبر جمهوری اسلامی انجام شده و از «اظهارنظرهای نادرست و بیتوجه به ابعاد مختلف» در این باره انتقاد کرد.
مجتبی خامنهای حدود ۱۰ روز پس از کشته شدن پدرش در نهم اسفند ۱۴۰۴ بهعنوان رهبر جمهوری اسلامی معرفی شد، اما از آن زمان نه تنها هیچ فایل تصویری که هیچ فایل صوتی هم از او منتشر نشده است.
عباس عراقچی، وزیر خارجه ایران، بهتازگی اعلام کرده که «هیچوقت» مجتبی خامنهای را از نزدیک ندیده و در دورهٔ رهبری او نیز جز معدودی او را ندیدهاند.
