🔴Execution of Mr. Mehdi Khanki; One of the Detainees from the Protests of December 2024

🔸The media center of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic has reported the execution of Mr. Mehdi Khanki, one of the detainees related to the nationwide protests of December 2024. This institution has stated that he was executed after the confirmation of the sentence by the Supreme Court, but has not disclosed the time and place of the execution.

🔸The Judiciary claims that Mr. Mehdi Khanki was sentenced to death and confiscation of property by the Revolutionary Court of Karaj on charges of "operational actions in favor of Israel, the United States, and hostile groups," as well as "manufacturing, preparing, and possessing weapons, military ammunition, and using them." This institution has also claimed that he was arrested on February 10, 2025, in Karaj, and that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were discovered during a search of his home.

🔸However, independent details regarding the judicial process, evidence in the case, the manner in which these confessions were obtained, and his access to independent legal counsel have not been published.

🔴اعدام آقای مهدی خانکی؛ از بازداشت‌شدگان اعتراضات دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴

🔸مرکز رسانه قوه قضاییه جمهوری اسلامی از اجرای حکم اعدام آقای مهدی خانکی، از بازداشت‌شدگان مرتبط با اعتراضات سراسری دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴، خبر داد. این نهاد اعلام کرده است که وی پس از تأیید حکم در دیوان عالی کشور اعدام شده، اما زمان و محل اجرای حکم را اعلام نکرده است.

🔸قوه قضاییه مدعی است که آقای مهدی خانکی به اتهام «اقدام عملیاتی به نفع اسرائیل، آمریکا و گروه‌های متخاصم» و همچنین «ساخت، تهیه و نگهداری اسلحه، مهمات جنگی و استفاده از آنها» از سوی دادگاه انقلاب کرج به اعدام و مصادره اموال محکوم شده بود. این نهاد همچنین ادعا کرده که وی در ۲۱ بهمن ۱۴۰۴ در کرج بازداشت شده و در بازرسی از منزلش سلاح، مهمات و مواد منفجره کشف شده است.
