The Revolutionary Guard announced on Thursday morning that three ships intended to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and one of them caught fire. The Guard attributed the fire on the ship to a mine collision.
In this statement, the Guard emphasized that it controls the Strait of Hormuz and that no ship can pass through this strait. Meanwhile, the U.S. military states that the Strait of Hormuz is open, and in recent weeks, 900 ships have passed through it.

سپاه پاسداران صبح پنجشنبه در اطلاعیهای گفت که سه کشتی قصد عبور از تنگه هرمز را داشتند که یکی از آنها آتش گرفت. سپاه دلیل آتش گرفتن این کشتی را برخورد با مین عنوان کرده است.
سپاه در این بیانیه تاکید کرده که کنترل تنگه هرمز را در اختیار دارد و هیچ کشتی از این تنگه عبور نمیکند. در عین حال ارتش آمریکا میگوید تنگه هرمز باز است و هفتههای اخیر ۹۰۰ کشتی از آن عبور کردهاند.
