The Tasnim news agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard, reported that at 6:50 PM on Thursday, following an attack by the U.S. military, a missile struck a location on the coast of the city of Souza on Qeshm Island.
Tasnim wrote that an investigation into the details of the incident and the extent of potential damages is currently underway by the responsible authorities.
The IRIB news agency also reported hearing an explosion in Qeshm.
