Vance and Marco Rubio in the negotiation process, stated that the main issue is "not complicated" and emphasized that Iran "should not acquire nuclear weapons." Trump also claimed that if the negotiations fail, the U.S. can escalate its actions "to a much higher level," adding that Tehran is in a position where it is "virtually forced to reach an agreement." He also mentioned that he is not in a hurry to reach a conclusion and stressed that this process must proceed "correctly."

He stated that he trusts the words of Xi Jinping, the President of China, and Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, regarding not providing assistance and selling weapons to Iran.

These remarks came after U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had previously stated in a Senate Q&A session that China and Russia are "facilitating" the actions of the Islamic Republic at various levels. However, Trump told reporters that the leaders of both countries have promised him they will not interfere in this matter, adding, "I think I trust them. They don't want to disappoint me."
