The Joint Command of the Coalition Forces announced on Friday night that in response to the "cowardly and hasty" actions of Houthi militants targeting commercial ships in the Red Sea, it has carried out a proportional military operation against legitimate military targets of this group in the Al Hudaydah province.

Turki al-Maliki, the official spokesperson for the coalition, emphasized that the military response operation has concluded in full compliance with international law and has achieved its operational objectives, stating: "The port of Al Hudaydah has not been targeted, and all ports in Yemen, including Al Hudaydah, Ras Isa, and Salif, remain open for shipping, the entry of food aid, and fuel."

He also added that Saudi Arabia will always stand by the people and government of Yemen and warned that if the Houthi's hostile actions continue, the coalition command will take action "without any leniency" to protect ships and national interests.

فرماندهی مشترک نیروهای ائتلاف، جمعه‌شب، با انتشار بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد که در پاسخ به اقدامات «بزدلانه و شتاب‌زده» شبه‌نظامیان حوثی در هدف قرار دادن کشتی‌های تجاری در دریای سرخ، عملیات نظامی متناسبی را علیه اهداف نظامی مشروع این گروه در استان الحدیده اجرا کرده است.

ترکی المالکی، سخنگوی رسمی ائتلاف، با تاکید بر اینکه عملیات پاسخ نظامی طبق قوانین بین‌المللی و با تحقق کامل اهداف عملیاتی به پایان رسیده، تصریح کرد: «بندر الحدیده هدف قرار نگرفته و تمامی بنادر یمن از جمله الحدیده، راس‌عیسی و الصلیف برای کشتیرانی، ورود کمک‌های غذایی و سوخت باز هستند.»

او همچنین افزود عربستان سعودی همواره در کنار ملت و دولت یمن باقی خواهد ماند و هشدار داد که در صورت تداوم اقدامات خصمانه حوثی‌ها، فرماندهی ائتلاف برای حفاظت از کشتی‌ها و منافع ملی «بدون هیچ‌گونه اغماضی» مجددا دست به اقدام خواهد زد.
