Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, announced that his country's forces targeted a Russian warship as well as ships that, according to him, were used for transporting military cargo related to Iran in the Caspian Sea.

On Saturday, August 25, Zelensky wrote in a message on X that Ukraine achieved "very good" results in last night's long-range attacks in the Caspian Sea. According to him, among the targets of this operation were ships that were used "in cooperation with Iran" to transfer military cargo. The President of Ukraine did not provide further details about the identity of the warship or the targeted vessels.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) also reported the same day that Ukrainian drones targeted the "Filanovsky" oil platform, owned by the Russian company Lukoil, located in the Caspian Sea. According to this agency, two cargo ships named "Port Olia 2" and "Beg" were also hit in the same operation; ships that, according to the Security Service of Ukraine, played a role in transferring military cargo between Russia and Iran.

So far, neither Moscow nor Tehran has responded to these claims, and Ukraine's reports have not been independently verified.

ولودیمیر زلنسکی، رییس‌جمهور اوکراین، اعلام کرد نیروهای کشورش یک ناو جنگی روسیه و همچنین کشتی‌هایی را که به گفته او برای جابه‌جایی محموله‌های نظامی مرتبط با ایران به کار می‌رفتند، در دریای خزر مورد هدف قرار داده‌اند.

زلنسکی روز شنبه، سوم مرداد، در پیامی در شبکه ایکس نوشت که اوکراین در حملات دوربرد شب گذشته در دریای خزر به نتایجی «بسیار خوب» رسیده است. به گفته او، در میان اهداف این عملیات، کشتی‌هایی نیز بوده‌اند که «با مشارکت ایران» برای انتقال محموله‌های نظامی استفاده می‌شدند. رییس‌جمهور اوکراین اطلاعات دقیق‌تری درباره هویت ناو جنگی یا کشتی‌های هدف قرارگرفته منتشر نکرد.

سرویس امنیتی اوکراین (اس‌بی‌یو) نیز همان روز گزارش داد پهپادهای اوکراینی سکوی نفتی «فیلانوفسکی»، متعلق به شرکت روسی لوک‌اویل واقع در دریای خزر، را هدف گرفته‌اند. بر اساس اعلام این نهاد، دو کشتی باری با نام‌های «پورت اولیا ۲» و «بگی» نیز در همین عملیات مورد اصابت قرار گرفتند؛ کشتی‌هایی که به گفته سرویس امنیتی اوکراین در انتقال محموله‌های نظامی میان روسیه و ایران نقش داشته‌اند.

تا کنون نه مسکو و نه تهران واکنشی به این ادعاها نشان نداده‌اند و گزارش‌های اوکراین نیز به صورت مستقل تایید نشده است.
