The news website Wynet reported that Israeli officials had estimated that a large-scale U.S. attack on Iran, which Donald Trump, the President of the United States, had said he was considering, would begin on Friday night and continue into Saturday morning. However, by the end of Friday, they concluded that Trump had currently halted the attack and given Tehran another opportunity.

According to the report, behind the scenes, Qatar and Oman exerted significant pressure on the Islamic Republic to soften its positions and prevent what appeared to be a large-scale and almost certain U.S. operation.

The report added that Israeli officials still believe that the understanding between Tehran and Washington has effectively collapsed, and the likelihood of reaching a permanent agreement that would compel the Iranian government to accept U.S. demands is close to zero.

According to this report, from Israel's perspective, the new opportunity that Trump has given Tehran only allows the Islamic Republic to buy time for a short period and does not change Israel's overall assessment.

وبسایت خبری وای‌نت گزارش داد مقام‌های اسرائیلی برآورد کرده بودند حمله گسترده آمریکا به ایران، که دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، گفته بود در حال بررسی آن است، شب جمعه تا بامداد شنبه آغاز شود، اما با پایان روز جمعه به این نتیجه رسیدند که ترامپ فعلا حمله را متوقف کرده و فرصت دیگری به تهران داده است.

بر اساس این گزارش، در پشت صحنه، قطر و عمان فشار قابل‌توجهی بر جمهوری اسلامی وارد کردند تا مواضع خود را نرم‌تر کند و از وقوع آنچه یک عملیات گسترده و تقریبا قطعی آمریکا به نظر می‌رسید، جلوگیری شود.

این گزارش افزود مقام‌های اسرائیلی همچنان معتقدند تفاهم میان تهران و واشینگتن عملا از بین رفته و احتمال دستیابی به توافقی دائمی که حکومت ایران را وادار به پذیرش خواسته‌های آمریکا کند، نزدیک به صفر است.

بر اساس این گزارش، از نگاه اسرائیل، فرصت تازه‌ای که ترامپ در اختیار تهران قرار داده، تنها به جمهوری اسلامی امکان می‌دهد برای مدت کوتاهی زمان بخرد و تغییری در ارزیابی کلی اسرائیل ایجاد نمی‌کند.
