A man who killed his 17-year-old daughter, Fatemeh Soltani, last year with knife strikes in front of her workplace in Islamshahr has been sentenced to eight years in prison and ordered to pay blood money by the Tehran Criminal Court.
In the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, there are regulations that exempt fathers who commit the murder of their own children from severe punishments.

مردی که سال گذشته دختر ۱۷ ساله خود به نام فاطمه سلطانی را مقابل آرایشگاه محل کارش در اسلامشهر با ضربات چاقو به #قتل رسانده بود، با حکم دادگاه کیفری تهران به هشت سال حبس و پرداخت دیه محکوم شد.
در قوانین جمهوری اسلامی ایران، مقرراتی وجود دارد که پدرانی را که مرتکب قتل فرزند خود میشوند، از مجازاتهای سنگین معاف میکند.
