On Sunday, July 25, Al Arabiya news network reported that the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran submitted their responses to a joint proposal from Pakistan and Qatar aimed at resuming negotiations between the two countries.
According to the report, informed sources confirmed in conversations with Al Arabiya that Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, and other regional mediators have presented a new plan to Washington and Tehran for establishing a 10-day ceasefire. This plan is designed to create a conducive environment for resolving the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz and reviving previous agreements.
Al Arabiya wrote that this proposal has two main conditions for bringing both sides back to the negotiation table, which include an immediate cessation of hostile actions and the complete and safe reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping traffic.
According to the details of this plan, it has been stipulated that the southern shipping route through Omani waters will remain safe from attacks by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, and the northern route through Iranian waters will also be exempt from the U.S. naval blockade.

شبکه خبری العربیه، روز یکشنبه چهارم مرداد ماه گزارش کرد ایالات متحده آمریکا و جمهوری اسلامی ایران پاسخ خود به پیشنهاد مشترک پاکستان و قطر را که با هدف ازسرگیری مذاکرات میان دو کشور ارائه شده بود، تحویل دادند.
بر اساس این گزارش، منابع آگاه در گفتگو با العربیه تایید کردهاند که کشورهای قطر، مصر، پاکستان و دیگر میانجیگران منطقهای طرح جدیدی برای برقراری یک آتشبس ۱۰ روزه به واشنگتن و تهران ارائه دادهاند. این طرح با هدف ایجاد فضای مناسب جهت حل بحران در تنگه هرمز و احیای توافقات پیشین تنظیم شده است.
العربیه نوشت، این پیشنهاد دو شرط اصلی برای بازگرداندن دو طرف به مسیر گفتگو دارد که شامل توقف فوری اقدامات خصمانه و بازگشایی کامل و ایمن تنگه هرمز به روی رفتوآمد کشتیرانی بینالمللی است.
بر اساس جزئیات این طرح، مقرر شده است که مسیر جنوبی دریانوردی از طریق آبهای عمان از حملات نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی در امان بماند و مسیر شمالی از طریق آبهای ایران نیز از محاصره دریایی آمریکا خارج شود.
