Mike Waltz, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, announced that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has temporarily halted attacks on Iran to provide more opportunity for advancing diplomacy.

Waltz said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday, "He is giving negotiations a chance; he has created a little space for the talks to progress."

A spokesman for the Islamic Republic Army also stated that following the halt of U.S. attacks, Iran has also stopped its attacks on Washington's allies in the Middle East.

مایک والتز، سفیر ایالات متحده در سازمان ملل، اعلام کرد که دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، حملات علیه ایران را به‌طور موقت متوقف کرده تا فرصت بیشتری برای پیشبرد دیپلماسی فراهم شود.

والتز روز یکشنبه در گفت‌وگو با شبکه فاکس نیوز گفت: «او دارد به مذاکرات فرصت می‌دهد؛ کمی فضا برای پیش رفتن گفت‌وگوها فراهم کرده است.»

سخنگوی ارتش جمهوری اسلامی نیز گفته که در پی توقف حملات آمریکا، ایران نیز حمله به متحدان واشینگتن در خاورمیانه را متوقف کرده است.
