The imminent danger of executing the death sentences of at least two individuals convicted in the December 2024 protests in Isfahan has increased.
"Alireza Sepahi" and "Abulfazl Sepahi," two cousins who have been sentenced to death in this case, have been prepared for a "final meeting with their family," and the likelihood of their sentences being carried out on the morning of Tuesday, August 6, 2026, is very serious.
It has also been reported to IranWire that "Somayeh Afshar," the mother of Alireza Sepahi and the mother-in-law of Abulfazl Sepahi, has been sentenced to five years in prison in the same case and is currently serving her sentence in prison.
Currently, the available information only confirms the status of these two convicts. However, since several other defendants in this case also face death sentences, there is a possibility that others have also been called for a final meeting and are at risk of execution.

خطر اجرای قریبالوقوع حکم اعدام دستکم دو نفر از محکومان پرونده اعتراضات دیماه ۱۴۰۴ اصفهان افزایش یافته است.
«علیرضا سپاهی» و «ابوالفضل سپاهی»، دو پسرعمو که در این پرونده به اعدام محکوم شدهاند، برای «آخرین ملاقات با خانواده» آماده شدهاند و احتمال اجرای حکم آنها در صبح سهشنبه ۶مرداد۱۴۰۵ بسیار جدی است.
همچنین به ایرانوایر گفته شده است که «سمیه افشار»، مادر علیرضا سپاهی و مادر همسر ابوالفضل سپاهی، در همین پرونده به پنج سال حبس محکوم شده و هماکنون دوران محکومیت خود را در زندان سپری میکند.
اطلاعات موجود در حال حاضر تنها درباره وضعیت این دو محکوم تایید شده است. با این حال، از آنجا که چند متهم دیگر این پرونده نیز با حکم اعدام روبهرو هستند، این احتمال وجود دارد که افراد دیگری نیز برای آخرین ملاقات فراخوانده شده و در معرض اجرای حکم قرار گرفته باشند.
