Images shared on social media depict the preparation of Ali Khani Square in Isfahan for the execution ceremony to be held in public.

Videos show the installed iron scaffolding, and given the presence of security forces around the area, concerns about the public execution of several protesters from the December protests have increased.

Some families of those sentenced to death in the case known as "Ali Khani Square" have been informed to visit Isfahan Central Prison for a final meeting. This case involves 12 defendants sentenced to death.

A source close to the family of Amir Hossein Safari, one of the defendants in this case, stated that his family has been summoned for a final visit to the prison.

Abolfazl Sepahi and Alireza Sepahi, two other detainees from the December protests who have been sentenced to death, are also at risk of imminent execution.

Gol Mohammad Mohammadi and Erfan Esfandiari were executed last week in connection with this case.
The Ali Khani Square case is related to the protests that occurred on January 7 in this city.
Officials of the Islamic Republic claim that four Basij and special forces were killed during the clashes in this area.
