Trump: If Iran does not agree to a deal, we will target the "Kolang Gazla" mountain, bridges, and power plants

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on Tuesday that good discussions are ongoing with Iran, but he once again threatened that if Tehran does not reach an agreement with the U.S., underground facilities in the "Kolang Gazla" mountain, bridges, and power plants in Iran will be targeted.

In an interview with Fox News, he stated that if possible, he would prefer not to target Iran's bridges and power plants.

Trump explained: "I can take out all their power plants in one day. All their power plants will be destroyed. I think about 91 million people will have to live without electricity and without bridges. And this is a very, very delicate balance."

He emphasized: "They know that if they do not agree, I will do this."

Donald Trump warned: "I can say that within two hours, most of the bridges, the main bridges, will all be destroyed, and the power plants will be taken out within one day."

He added: "If I can avoid doing this, I would prefer to avoid it."

The U.S. President also referred to the memorandum signed between Washington and Tehran in June, which reached the brink of collapse during the conflicts in July, saying: "We can no longer allow them to violate agreements."

ترامپ: اگر ایران تن به توافق ندهد، کوه «کلنگ گزلا»، پل‌ها و نیروگاه‌های برق را می‌زنیم

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، روز سه‌شنبه گفت که گفت‌وگوهای خوبی با ایران در جریان است، اما بار دیگر تهدید کرد که اگر تهران با آمریکا به توافق نرسد، تأسیسات زیرزمینی در کوه «کلنگ گزلا»، پل‌ها و نیروگاه‌های برق ایران را هدف قرار خواهد داد.

او در گفت‌وگو با شبکه فاکس نیوز اعلام کرد که در صورت امکان ترجیح می‌دهد پل‌ها و نیروگاه‌های برق ایران را هدف قرار ندهد.

ترامپ توضیح داد: «من می‌توانم همه نیروگاه‌های برق آنها را ظرف یک روز از کار بیندازم. تمام نیروگاه‌های برق آنها از بین خواهند رفت. فکر می‌کنم حدود ۹۱ میلیون نفر باید بدون برق و بدون پل زندگی کنند. و این یک توازن بسیار، بسیار ظریف است.»

او تصریح کرد: «آنها می‌دانند که اگر توافق نکنند، من این کار را انجام خواهم داد.»

دونالد ترامپ هشدار داد: «می‌توانم بگویم ظرف دو ساعت، بیشتر پل‌ها، پل‌های اصلی، همگی نابود خواهند شد و نیروگاه‌های برق هم ظرف یک روز.»

او افزود: «اگر بتوانم از انجام این کار اجتناب کنم، ترجیح می‌دهم از آن اجتناب کنم.»

رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا همچنین با اشاره به تفاهم‌نامه امضا شده بین واشینگتن و تهران در خرداد ماه که در درگیری‌های تیرماه به آستانه فروپاشی رسید، گفت: «ما دیگر نمی‌توانیم اجازه دهیم آنها توافق‌ها را نقض کنند.»
