The government spokesperson said today: Bushehr Airport is no longer usable and must be rebuilt. Only the tail remains of an airplane we had just purchased.

The spokesperson for the Islamic Republic government stated that Bushehr Airport has been completely destroyed in recent U.S. attacks and is no longer usable, and "it definitely needs to be rebuilt from scratch."

Fatemeh Mohajerani said on Tuesday, July 27, during her weekly press conference with reporters that during her visit to Bushehr Airport, she saw the "remains of a newly purchased airplane" that had been destroyed by a direct missile strike, with only a small part of its tail remaining intact.
This is the first time an Iranian government official has reported the complete destruction of Bushehr Airport due to attacks on Iran.

سخنگوی دولت جمهوری اسلامی می‌گوید فرودگاه بوشهر در حملات اخیر آمریکا کاملا تخریب شده و دیگر قابل استفاده نیست و «حتما باید از اول ساخته شود.»

فاطمه مهاجرانی روز سه‌شنبه، ۶ مرداد، در نشست خبری هفتگی‌اش با خبرنگاران گفت در بازدید از فرودگاه بوشهر «بقایای هواپیمای نوی به تازگی خریداری شده» را دیده که بر اثر اصابت مستقیم موشک، جز بخش کوچکی از دُم آن، تمام بدنه آن نابود شده بود.
این نخستین بار است که یک مقام حکومت ایران از تخریب کامل فرودگاه بوشهر بر اثر حملات به ایران خبر می‌دهد.
