The public relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army announced the identity of the deceased pilot Majid Kazemi after several months.
They wrote that he was one of the 4 pilots of two Su-24 fighter jets that were targeted during an attack on American forces at the Al Udeid base in Qatar. They mentioned that efforts to determine the status of the other 3 individuals are still ongoing, and Majid Kazemi's identity has been confirmed through specialized tests and DNA analysis.

روابط عمومی ارتش جمهوری اسلامی ایران هویت خلبان کشته شده مجید کاظمی رو پس از چند ماه اعلام کرد.
نوشتند یکی از ۴ خلبان دو جنگنده سوخو ۲۴ بوده که در حمله به نیروهای آمریکایی در پایگاه العدید قطر هواپیماشون مورد هدف قرار گرفت.
نوشتند تلاشها برای تعیین وضعیت ۳ نفر دیگر همچنان در جریان است و مجید کاظمی هم با آزمایشهای تخصصی و بررسی DNA هویتش تایید شده.
