The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Zanjan announced in a statement the death of three of its forces in the early morning attacks by the U.S. on various locations in Iran.

In the public relations statement from the IRGC of Zanjan province, no further details were provided regarding the location of their deaths, their ranks, or their areas of operation, aside from the names of these IRGC members.

This comes as Iranian media had previously identified these areas as the targets of the early Thursday morning attacks: "Ahvaz, Abadan, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, Bandar Anzali in Gilan, Kazeroon and Farashband in Fars province, Choghadak in Bushehr, Shadgan and Arvand Kenar in Khuzestan, and Kish Island."

سپاه پاسداران زنجان با انتشار بیانیه‌ای از کشته شدن سه نیروی این نهاد نظامی در حملات بامداد پنجشنبۀ آمریکا به نقاطی از ایران خبر داد.

در بیانیه روابط عمومی سپاه استان زنجان، به‌جز اسامی این اعضای سپاه پاسداران، جزئیات بیشتری درباره محل کشته شدن آنها و درجه و محل فعالیت‌شان اعلام نشده است.

این در حالی است که تا ساعاتی قبل، رسانه‌های ایران این مناطق را به‌عنوان نقاطی که هدف حملات بامداد پنجشنبه قرار گرفت، اعلام کرده بودند: «اهواز، آبادان، بندرعباس، قشم، بندرانزلی گیلان، کازرون و فراشبند استان فارس، چغادک بوشهر، شادگان و اروندکنار خوزستان و جزیره کیش»
