The news agency "Mizan," affiliated with the judiciary of the Islamic Republic, reported the execution of two prisoners named "Omid Behzad" and "Pouria Safvat" on charges of "espionage" and "intelligence cooperation" with Israel through "sending images of security and military centers" of the Islamic Republic.

Mizan, the official organ of the judiciary, announced that these two prisoners were executed in the early hours of Monday, August 12.

According to this institution, "technical investigations" conducted on Omid Behzad's mobile phone confirmed these allegations, and he also "confessed to them during the investigations." However, it is unclear under what conditions these confessions were obtained. The Islamic Republic has repeatedly engaged in obtaining forced confessions over its more than 40 years of rule.

In Mizan's report, Pouria Safvat was also accused of direct cooperation with "Mossad" without providing any documents or details.

خبرگزاری «میزان» رسانه وابسته به قوه قضاییه جمهوری اسلامی از اعدام دو زندانی به نام‌های «امید بهزاد» و «پوریا صفوت» به اتهام «جاسوسی» و «همکاری اطلاعاتی» با اسراییل از طریق «ارسال تصاویر مراکز امنیتی و نظامی» جمهوری اسلامی خبر داد.

خبرگزاری میزان، ارگان رسمی قوه قضاییه، اعلام کرد این دو زندانی بامداد دوشنبه ۱۲مرداد اعدام شدند.

به ادعای این نهاد، «بررسی‌های فنی» انجام‌شده روی تلفن همراه امید بهزاد این موارد را تایید کرده و او نیز «در جریان تحقیقات» به آنها اعتراف کرده بود. با این حال، مشخص نیست این اعترافات در چه شرایطی از او گرفته شده است. جمهوری اسلامی طی بیش از ۴ دهه حکومت خود، بارها اقدام به اخذ اعترافات اجباری کرده است.

در گزارش میزان، پوریا صفوت نیز بدون ارائه هیچ‌گونه سند یا جزییاتی، به همکاری «مستقیم با موساد» متهم شده است.
