Qatar's state news agency reported that Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, discussed the latest regional developments during a phone call on Tuesday with Donald Trump, the President of the United States, particularly efforts to reduce tensions between the U.S. and the Islamic Republic and to align the views of both sides.
According to the report, Trump appreciated Qatar's role in supporting diplomatic efforts and facilitating dialogue between the parties to enhance regional security and stability.
The Emir of Qatar also emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue, utilizing diplomatic solutions, and ensuring that all parties adhere to the terms of the memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington. He also called for support for international initiatives to de-escalate tensions.
The two sides also discussed a number of mutual interests and emphasized the continuation of coordination and consultation regarding regional and international developments.

خبرگزاری دولتی قطر گزارش داد تمیم بن حمد آل ثانی، امیر قطر، روز سه‌شنبه در تماس تلفنی با دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، آخرین تحولات منطقه، به‌ویژه تلاش‌ها برای کاهش تنش میان آمریکا و جمهوری اسلامی و نزدیک کردن دیدگاه‌های دو طرف را بررسی کرد.
بر اساس این گزارش، ترامپ از نقش قطر در حمایت از تلاش‌های دیپلماتیک و تسهیل گفت‌وگو میان طرف‌ها برای تقویت امنیت و ثبات منطقه قدردانی کرد.
امیر قطر نیز بر اهمیت ادامه گفت‌وگو، استفاده از راه‌حل‌های دیپلماتیک و پایبندی همه طرف‌ها به مفاد یادداشت تفاهم میان تهران و واشینگتن تاکید کرد. او همچنین خواستار حمایت از ابتکارهای بین‌المللی برای مهار تنش‌ها شد.
دو طرف همچنین درباره شماری از موضوعات مورد علاقه مشترک گفت‌وگو و بر ادامه هماهنگی و رایزنی درباره تحولات منطقه‌ای و بین‌المللی تاکید کردند.
