The UK Maritime Trade Operations organization reports that a delayed report has been received regarding a vessel located 9 nautical miles (approximately 16 kilometers) from the port of "Mokha" in Yemen.
According to this report, a drone struck the ship in the Red Sea, causing a fire, but all crew members and staff are safe and have been rescued.
This organization stated that the ship is now sunk.
No further details have been released. A few hours ago, the Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen announced that they had attacked a Saudi oil tanker in the Red Sea with a ballistic missile.
This was the eighth vessel targeted since the start of the naval blockade against Saudi Arabia.
The Houthi military spokesperson did not mention the timing of the attack.

سازمان عملیات تجارت دریایی بریتانیا میگوید یک گزارش باتاخیر از یک کشتی در فاصله ۹ مایل دریایی (تقریبا ۱۶ کیلومتر) از بندر «مخا» در یمن دریافت کرده است.
بنابر این گزارش، یک شهپاد به این کشتی در دریای سرخ برخورد کرد و باعث آتشسوزی شد اما خدمه و کارکنان همگی سالم هستند و نجات یافتهاند.
به گفته این سازمان این کشتی اکنون غرق شده است.
جزئیات بیشتری منتشر نشده است. ساعاتی پیش حوثیهای یمن که همسو با ایران هستند، اعلام کردند که با موشک بالستیک به یک نفتکش سعودی در دریای سرخ حمله کردهاند.
این هشتمین شناوری بود که از زمان آغاز محاصره دریایی علیه عربستان سعودی هدف قرار گرفته است.
