🔴Since the beginning of 2026, the Islamic Republic of Iran has executed at least 916 death sentences, with 15 of these occurring in August. The actual number of executions is likely much higher, as the Iranian government conceals the true statistics of executions to prevent exposure, international oversight, and public backlash.

🔸Currently, a large number of protesters are facing serious charges and the imminent threat of execution. The process of issuing these sentences has been extremely rushed, unjust, and without adherence to fair trial standards.

🔸The Islamic Republic uses the issuance and execution of death sentences as a tool to intimidate society and prevent the emergence of new protests.

🔴جمهوری اسلامی ایران از ابتدای سال ۲۰۲۶ تاکنون دست‌کم ۹۱۶ حکم اعدام را به اجرا درآورده که از این تعداد، ۱۵ مورد در ماه اوت رخ داده است. شمار واقعی اعدام‌ها احتمالاً به‌مراتب بیشتر است؛ چرا که حکومت ایران برای جلوگیری از افشاگری، نظارت بین‌المللی و واکنش افکار عمومی، آمار واقعی اجرای اعدام‌ها را پنهان می‌کند.

🔸هم‌اکنون شمار زیادی از معترضان با اتهامات سنگین و خطر جدی اجرای حکم اعدام مواجه هستند. روند صدور این احکام بسیار شتاب‌زده، ناعادلانه و بدون رعایت آیین دادرسی منصفانه بوده است.

🔸جمهوری اسلامی از صدور و اجرای احکام اعدام به‌عنوان ابزاری برای ارعاب جامعه و پیشگیری از شکل‌گیری اعتراضات جدید استفاده می‌کند.
