The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attack on two oil tankers belonging to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) while passing through the Strait of Hormuz in a statement released early Friday, August 13.

The statement noted that this attack targeted the two ADNOC tankers without causing any casualties or injuries. The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs deemed this act a blatant violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2817 and emphasized that targeting commercial vessels or disrupting international shipping routes is contrary to the principle of freedom of navigation.

The statement also mentioned that targeting commercial vessels and using the Strait of Hormuz as a tool for pressure or economic extortion is considered by the UAE as an act of "piracy" by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and poses a direct threat to regional stability, maritime security, and global energy security. The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Iran to stop these attacks, end all hostile actions, and facilitate the complete and unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to maintain regional security and the stability of global trade and economy.

Saudi Arabia also condemned the targeting of these two oil tankers of the UAE energy fleet "in the strongest terms" in a statement. According to Al Arabiya, Riyadh emphasized its opposition to Iran's attacks on "commercial ships and oil tankers" in the Persian Gulf, holding Tehran responsible for the consequences of continuing these attacks. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed solidarity with the actions taken by the UAE "to preserve its sovereignty, security, and resources."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain strongly condemned the targeting of the two oil tankers of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as "economic extortion" by the Islamic Republic of Iran from regional countries. In this statement, Bahrain expressed support for the United Arab Emirates, stating that security in the Strait of Hormuz is essential for "maintaining energy security, stability of food and medicine supplies, and ensuring the flow of global trade," and called for Iran not to use it for "exerting pressure or economic extortion."

وزارت امور خارجه امارات متحده عربی بامداد جمعه ۲۳ مردادماه با انتشار بیانیه‌ای، حمله به دو نفتکش وابسته به شرکت ملی نفت ابوظبی (ADNOC) هنگام عبور از تنگه هرمز را به‌شدت محکوم کرد.

در این بیانیه آمده است که این حمله بدون بر جای گذاشتن تلفات یا مصدوم، دو نفتکش وابسته به «ادنوک» را هدف قرار داده است.
وزارت امور خارجه امارات این اقدام را نقض آشکار قطعنامه ۲۸۱۷ شورای امنیت سازمان ملل دانست و تاکید کرد که هدف قرار دادن کشتی‌های تجاری یا مختل کردن مسیرهای بین‌المللی دریانوردی، مغایر با اصل آزادی کشتیرانی است.

در این بیانیه همچنین آمده است که هدف قرار دادن کشتی‌های تجاری و استفاده از تنگه هرمز به‌عنوان ابزار فشار یا اخاذی اقتصادی، از سوی امارات اقدامی «دزدی دریایی» از جانب سپاه پاسداران ایران تلقی می‌شود و تهدیدی مستقیم برای ثبات منطقه، امنیت کشتیرانی و امنیت انرژی جهان به شمار می‌رود.
وزارت امور خارجه امارات از ایران خواست این حملات را متوقف کند، تمامی اقدامات خصمانه را پایان دهد و امکان بازگشایی کامل و بدون قید و شرط تنگه هرمز را فراهم کند تا امنیت منطقه و ثبات تجارت و اقتصاد جهانی حفظ شود.

عربستان سعودی نیز با انتشار بیانیه‌ای هدف قرار گرفتن این دو نفتکش ناوگان انرژی امارات را «با شدیدترین عبارات» محکوم کرد.
به گزارش العربیه، ریاض در این بیانیه با تاکید بر مخالفتش با حملات ایران به «کشتی‌ها و نفتکش‌های تجاری» در خلیج فارس، تهران را مسئول پیامدهای ادامه این حملات دانست.
پادشاهی سعودی در ادامه با اقداماتی که امارات «برای حفظ حاکمیت، امنیت و منابع خود»  اتخاذ می‌کند، اعلام همبستگی کرد.

وزارت امور خارجه بحرین هدف قرار دادن دو نفتکش شرکت ملی نفت ابوظبی (ادنوک) در تنگه هرمز را به شدت محکوم و آن را «باج‌گیری اقتصادی» جمهوری اسلامی ایران از کشورهای منطقه توصیف کرد.
بحرین در این بیانیه در حمایت از امارات متحده عربی افزود، امنیت در تنگه هرمز را برای «حفظ امنیت انرژی، ثبات عرضه مواد غذایی و دارویی و تضمین جریان تجارت جهانی» ضروری دانست و خواستار آن شد ایران از آن برای «اعمال فشار یا باج‌گیری اقتصادی» استفاده نکند.

وزارت خارجه مصر نیز در بیانیه‌ای خواستار توقف همه اقداماتی شد که امنیت کشتیرانی بین‌المللی را تهدید می‌کند.
