Majid Mohammed Al-Ansari, the spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, rejected the Islamic Republic's claim regarding the detention of three Iranian pilots, stating that Qatari forces found the body of one of the pilots after searching the crash site.

On Saturday, August 24, Al-Ansari wrote on X that the claims made about the detention of the Iranian pilots are "categorically" false and expressed surprise at the dissemination of these statements, especially while diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the region are ongoing.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that after the mentioned pilots entered Qatari airspace, they were contacted, and the targeting path was examined and confirmed. He added that after following engagement rules and establishing contact with the pilots without receiving a response, Qatar took necessary actions to defend its territory in accordance with international law requirements.

Al-Ansari also stated that Qatari search and rescue teams fully conducted operations to find the pilots' bodies. According to him, after the body of one of the pilots was found, the Qatari government contacted the Iranian side to coordinate its delivery in accordance with humanitarian international law regulations.

He added that Qatar invited a team in April to visit and obtain information about the details of the search and rescue operation, but the Iranian side has not yet responded to this invitation.

Earlier, the commander of the Missing Persons Search Committee of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic claimed that three army pilots, whose Sukhoi-24 fighters crashed during the attacks in Esfand, had been captured by Qatari forces.

Qatari officials, rejecting this claim, have provided a different narrative regarding the fate of the pilots and the search and rescue operations following the fighter jets' crashes.

ماجد محمد الانصاری، سخنگوی وزارت خارجه قطر، ادعای جمهوری اسلامی درباره بازداشت سه خلبان ایرانی را رد کرد و گفت نیروهای قطری پس از جست‌وجوی محل سقوط جنگنده‌ها، پیکر یکی از خلبانان را پیدا کرده‌اند.

الانصاری روز شنبه ۲۴ مرداد در شبکه ایکس نوشت ادعاهای مطرح‌شده درباره بازداشت خلبانان ایرانی «به‌طور قاطع» نادرست است و از انتشار این اظهارات، به‌ویژه در شرایطی که تلاش‌های دیپلماتیک برای کاهش تنش در منطقه ادامه دارد، ابراز تعجب کرد.

سخنگوی وزارت خارجه قطر گفت پس از ورود خلبانان مورد اشاره به حریم هوایی قطر، با آنها تماس گرفته شد و مسیر هدف‌گیری نیز بررسی و تایید شد. او افزود پس از رعایت قواعد درگیری و برقراری تماس با خلبانان بدون دریافت پاسخ، قطر اقدامات لازم را برای دفاع از خاک خود و مطابق با الزامات قوانین بین‌المللی انجام داد.

الانصاری همچنین گفت تیم‌های جست‌وجو و نجات قطر به‌طور کامل عملیات یافتن پیکر خلبانان را انجام دادند. به گفته او، دولت قطر پس از پیدا شدن پیکر یکی از خلبانان، برای هماهنگی تحویل آن مطابق مقررات حقوق بین‌الملل بشردوستانه با طرف ایرانی تماس گرفت.

او افزود قطر در ماه آوریل از یک تیم برای بازدید و دریافت اطلاعات درباره جزییات عملیات جست‌وجو و نجات دعوت کرده است، اما طرف ایرانی تاکنون به این دعوت پاسخی نداده است.

پیش‌تر فرمانده کمیته جست‌وجوی مفقودین ستاد کل نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی مدعی شده بود سه خلبان ارتش که جنگنده‌های سوخو-۲۴ آنها در جریان حملات اسفندماه سقوط کرده بود، به اسارت نیروهای قطری درآمده‌اند.

مقام‌های قطری با رد این ادعا، روایت متفاوتی از سرنوشت خلبانان و عملیات جست‌وجو و نجات پس از سقوط جنگنده‌ها ارائه کرده‌اند.
