Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported on Wednesday morning that the Emirati oil tanker, which had been seized in the northern corridor of the Strait of Hormuz, has changed its course and is heading towards Bandar Abbas. According to this report, the initial destination of this tanker was Jebel Ali port in the UAE, but after its seizure, its route has shifted towards Iranian waters.

Fars did not disclose the name of the tanker, the owning company, the ship's flag, the cargo, or the official reason for the seizure; a matter that increases the ambiguities regarding the nature of this action. Re-published reports from Fars News Agency also state that this tanker was stopped while passing through the Strait of Hormuz and within the designated corridor set by Iran.

This news comes a day after the United Arab Emirates accused Iran of firing two missiles at the country.

خبرگزاری فارس، وابسته به سپاه پاسداران، صبح چهارشنبه گزارش داد نفتکش اماراتی که در کریدور شمالی تنگه هرمز توقیف شده بود، مسیر خود را تغییر داده و به‌سمت بندرعباس در حرکت است. بر اساس این گزارش، مقصد اولیه این نفتکش بندر جبل‌علی در امارات بود، اما پس از توقیف، مسیر آن به‌سمت آب‌های ایران تغییر کرده است.

فارس نام این نفتکش، شرکت مالک، پرچم کشتی، محموله و دلیل رسمی توقیف را اعلام نکرده است؛ موضوعی که ابهام‌ها درباره ماهیت این اقدام را افزایش می‌دهد. گزارش‌های بازنشرشده از خبرگزاری فارس نیز می‌گویند این نفتکش هنگام عبور از تنگه هرمز و در محدوده کریدور تعیین‌شده از سوی ایران متوقف شده بود.

این خبر یک روز پس از آن منتشر می‌شود که امارات متحده عربی، ایران را به شلیک دو موشک به این کشور متهم کرد.
