The Judiciary of the Islamic Republic executed "Ghaem Hosseini," known as "Arian," on Thursday morning, August 29, 1405 (according to the Persian calendar), in connection with the protests in Isfahan in December. He is the fifth person to be executed in the case known as "Ali Khani Square."

The Mizan news agency, the media outlet of the Judiciary, introduced Hosseini as a "foreign national," but did not disclose his nationality. The report also did not provide information about the time of his arrest or the place of detention.

The Judiciary accused Hosseini of "interfering in the events of Ali Khani Square in Isfahan," brandishing a weapon, creating widespread fear and insecurity, and acting against national security. According to reports from state media, his death sentence was confirmed and carried out after a review of the appeal in the Supreme Court.

Previously, the Judiciary had executed "Abulfazl Sepahi," "Amir Hossein Safari," "Erfan Esfandiari," and "Gol Mohammad Mohammadi" [the cousin of Ghaem Hosseini] in connection with the same case. Mizan also reported that indictments had been issued for 16 individuals in this case.

Shervin Bagherian, Amir Hossein Maleki, and Alireza Sepahi are three other condemned individuals in this case, about whom no clear information regarding their final sentences and current status has been published.

قوه قضاییه جمهوری اسلامی صبح پنج‌شنبه ۲۹ مرداد ۱۴۰۵ «قائم حسینی»، معروف به «آرین»، را در ارتباط با اعتراضات دی‌ماه اصفهان اعدام کرد. او پنجمین فردی است که در پرونده موسوم به «میدان علیخانی» اعدام می‌شود.

خبرگزاری میزان، ارگان رسانه‌ای قوه قضاییه، حسینی را «تبعه خارجی» معرفی کرده، اما تابعیت او را اعلام نکرده است. در این گزارش همچنین اطلاعاتی درباره زمان بازداشت و محل نگهداری منتشر نشده است.

قوه قضاییه حسینی را به «دخالت در وقایع میدان علیخانی اصفهان»، کشیدن سلاح، ایجاد رعب‌ووحشت و ناامنی گسترده و اقدام علیه امنیت ملی متهم کرده بود. براساس گزارش رسانه‌های حکومتی، حکم اعدام او پس از بررسی فرجام‌خواهی در دیوان عالی کشور عینا تایید و اجرا شده است.

قوه قضاییه پیش‌تر «ابوالفضل سپاهی»، «امیرحسین صفری»، «عرفان اسفندیاری» و «گل‌محمد محمدی» [پسرعمه قائم حسینی] را در ارتباط با همین پرونده اعدام کرده بود. همچنین میزان اعلام کرده بود که برای ۱۶ نفر در این پرونده کیفرخواست صادر شده است.

شروین باقریان، امیرحسین ملکی و علیرضا سپاهی، سه محکوم دیگر این پرونده‌اند که درباره احکام نهایی و وضعیت کنونی آن‌ها اطلاعات شفافی منتشر نشده است.
